The Mats OMS (Order Management System) is a specialized system designed for back-office warehouse operations, primarily aimed at assisting employees in overseeing the order management process.
This system serves as a central platform that facilitates various tasks related to order management, including order processing, inventory management, and logistics coordination. It provides employees with tools and features for efficient order handling, inventory tracking, and delivery organization.
Additionally, the Mats OMS integrates functions for employee scheduling and shift management, ensuring seamless coordination among staff members. By incorporating home delivery management capabilities, the system further enhances efficiency in delivering orders to customers’ homes.
By leveraging the Mats OMS, employees can optimize workflows and simplify the complexities of order management, ultimately improving overall operational efficiency.
Regarding the design aspect, the Mats OMS (Order Management System) has been carefully crafted with a strong emphasis on providing a smooth and user-friendly interface (UI) and user experience (UX) for employees. We have placed great importance on creating a visually appealing and user-friendly workspace that enhances productivity and minimizes the learning curve for users. The UI elements have been meticulously designed to ensure easy navigation and efficient task execution.

On the Mats OMS home screen, users are presented with a login interface where they can enter their user ID and password to access the system. This secure login process ensures that only authorized employees can gain access to the OMS.
If a user forgets their login credentials, we have implemented a system that prompts them to contact Mats support for assistance. Our dedicated support team is readily available to help users recover their login details and guide them through the password reset process. This ensures that users can regain access to the Mats OMS and continue their work efficiently and securely.

This study builds upon previous proposals and addresses the limitations identified in existing research. Its aim is to explore the possibility of designing an innovative Smart Cart application that prioritizes users' needs and preferences. The design of the Mats Cart prototype was informed by data collected through questionnaires from 324 out of 450 participants, as well as insights gained from two interviews. In addition to developing the Mats Cart application, this project also focused on creating the Mats OMS (Order Management System), specifically tailored for employees. Recognizing the importance of a user-centered approach, both applications were meticulously designed to enhance efficiency, user adoption, and overall user experience.
